If You Could Chose One from

Funny you mentioned wringer washer, that would be my desire too; as it brings back many memories of doing laundry with my Grammie. She even collected rain water and skimmed off the bugs lol. Her clothes were wonderful too!

If you could chose just one thing, ok maybe two...what would it be?? I'll start by saying, I really would love to have and actually use a nice old wringer washer!
I didn't mind the extra work, clothes were cleaner, less water waist and nothing beat clean sheets and towels hanging on the line!! :-D

Sidewalks
front porches
rotory phones that I can actually hear something on besides static and no answering machines.
Smaller community schools where kids can walk to on the sidewalks we should have.
I miss Blue laws when everythhing is closed on weekends; We did survive!
My DH says the one thing he misses is youth. HA
I miss hearing trains.
Now I'm depressed. Okay. I'm over that!

The only thing I remember I wish for now is everyone having was a big front porch with lots of chairs and a big porch swing. The wringer washer? I remember my mother and grandmother doing laundry with one. It was hard work and took all day. Nope, don't want ever to go back to backbreaking housework with no modern appliances.

Family oriented shows that you don't need to pre-screen before hand.
Being in a community where everyone knows everyone, everyone stops to chat, holds doors open for others
The milkman delivering real milk not the stuff today that is full of chemicals and estrogen.
