I would go to the Amana Colonies, Iowa. It is my favorite place in the whole world. My husband's family is from there and it is the most restful quiet place. The food is good, the quilt shops are wonderful, the relatives are super and we have family in the cemeteries that we go to every time we get there. It is most wonderful around Labor Day when the locusts are singing, it is still hot outside, you sit in the glider swings and swing back and forth and it so totally renews your spirit. That's where I would go! Edie

I would like to go to Costa Rica and visit a rain forest or Istanbul in Turkey. I have a "Flickr friend" that lives there and his photos are always so colorful and wonderfully intersting! (Flickr is a photo site... kind of like Facebook in a way, but with photography)

2 places--
1. Egypt to see the pyramids and other ruins.
2. Australia. I'd love to see the outback, wild kangaroos, etc. I wish I could go to Australia each Sept when their spring arrives then come back to the States in April when our spring starts...heh heh. That way I could skip fall and winter each year!! That would be wonderful.

Cornwall to try to find out where my maternal grandparent's family emigrated from. Know they were tin miners and came to the US to work in the copper mines of the UP. Love my pasties. Thank you Cornish wives, whoever you were who invented this gastronomic delight. Grew up eating them and clotted cream, or as my gramma said, "scalded cream".
