Angela Lansbury is so diverse! She started out early on as the wicked housemaid in Gaslight with Charles Boyer and Ingrid Bergman and did and an even more wicked turn as the mother of The Manchurian Candidate! Thanks goodness she did Murder She Wrote to balance things out! LOL

Who remembers her in The Picture of Dorian Gray? One of my all time favorite actresses!

Happy birthday Angela ! I have watched every episode of Murder She Wrote at least three or four times. My daughter who is 30 loves the show too. I love when she plays her Irish twin McGillicudy(so). Lol.
I also noticed in several of the episodes , there are famous movie stars who had a part in the show when they were younger.
My other favorite shows that I watch reruns of is Matlock.
I think Angela Lansbury is British.
