So, now I'm faced with Amtrak... and I'd have to come in Early...

The biggest problem is that I have to be there between 4-9 if I come in the day before... but... the cheapest two trains that will stop in Galesburg are 1030 am (arriving galesburg) and 842pm (arriving galesburg )

The only thing about the bus is depending on how mnay stops they have and lay overs It could take longer then the train.

What am I supposed to do all day in a town I know nothing about... or rather, how am I going to get to Monmouth College in time before it closes.

    They'll provide a shuttle... I'm so lost!

If lived up there I would take you and just make a day of it but I'm to far away. With the bus you have to make sure how many stops it make it could make to many and you get in there late.

    Nope!

I volunteer in a program called Illinois Teen Institute. I'm a staff member, and we have our camp at a college... This year and last year it was at Monmouth... which is about a half hour drive from the border of Indiana.

If it were me I'd find the library and be so lost in a book they'd have to throw me out when the day was over!

I find books even mmore addicting than quilting or reading this board (if you can imagine that!)
