I am laid off...I dont think a governmentjob is where I would want to be....I do like my recliner and remote...and especially sewing machines....

Unfortunately none of those crazy California style gov't. employee pensions for mil folks. Same boss and yet the military gets the short end of the stick. Just imagine a world where an SPC retires on a six figure pension. lol

With a name like Frugal, I'm betting you're not getting one of those pensions either.

I work for a well known hotel chain, but hubby is Postal (which is government) and Navy before that. :)

My husband worked for Social Security Administration for 35 years. He retired 2 years ago. He is very glad to be retired.
