Oh how happy I am to hear there are more night people out there. Now I don't feel so guilty for sleeping in. I am retired and worked nearly all my married years. I swore that getting up in the morning was the hardest part of the day. I decided if I ever retired I would stay up late and sleep late and that is what I do and no, there are NO appointments made for mornings.

I just got up...it is 10:30am. When I retired this year I said no more mornings unless it is to go to garage sales. Glad we did yesterday as I picked up 26 yards of name-brand quilting fabrics for .20 a yard!

I'm not a morning person at all. I love staying up late virtual touring the world on the internet, reading posts here on QB, and looking at CLs. My morning starts late; and always, I need a couple of cups of coffee to get me moving.

I am definitely a morning person. I have a rule--on my days off, I have to do my housework, chores, and errands. THEN I can do whatever I want, which means quilting!!! If I've finished my tasks by 10 am, I feel like I've got a good handle on the day. I don't get up super-early, but I do try to be out of bed by 7:30. If my dearest is racing that morning, we're usually out of bed before 5 (he runs in a lot of local events, and they usually start by 7:30 or 8).

Also, in the summer, I HAVE to get up early if I want to beat the heat and get my run in. It's downright dangerous to run in our typical Indiana heat and humidity. I feel cheated on those days the temp doesn't get below 75 at night. There's no escaping an uncomfortable run then.

I love the mornings, I drink my tea on the back porch and read my Bible for about a hour every morning listing to the birds sing. It makes the day so much better..

I'm an insomniac also. so i have times where I'm up late now. I worked the night shift as as RN for years. Thought I might as well be paid for being awake! now I sew!

Yes, I am very much a morning person. I love to get up early and enjoy every minute of my day. I have my coffee on the porch, feed puppy, and go for my 2 mile walk. Home, then go daily chores, or yard work. I am usually busy all day, until abour 3 pm, that's when I say my day is over, if its not done by 3, it can wait until tomorrow. I figure I can sleep when I am dead.

I usally go to bed early, wake up around 2:30-3am. Go back to sleep for an hour and up at 4-4:30 when husbands alarm goes off, then i'm up again rest of the day. My sleep pattern sucks but unless I take an Ambian I don't sleep through the night and I don't take a pill unless I seriously can't get to sleep. As far as mood, sometimes i'm okay in the morning sometimes i'm a bear.
