I'm a morning person for sure, especially if I have a day off. I want to get up early to start enjoying it! I don't understand people who sleep in.

I swear that you just come pre-programed. I've always been a night person. No matter how dead-tired I am all day, around 9pm or so I start to gain a momentum and can be more productive then than I was all day. I can easily keep going until 1 or later if I don't allow myself to look at the clock. And then it's the same cycle - either sleep in or have to drag myself out of bed at 7 if I have something I have to do. Thankfully ds is also a night person, so he rarely disturbs me if I do get to sleep in - he's also sleeping.

I'm up every morning around 5 now that it's summer. I hit the gym and then I'm good. I will stay up till around 1 sewing though. :)

I have always been a night owl, even before I spent most of my working life on the night shift. When I worked 3-11 I would come home and get in 3 or 4 hrs painting or sewing. Then when I worked the 11-7 shift I would come home and eat and sew/watch tv for a couple of hrs before going to bed. I am retired and still have never been able to make a turn around to being a day person. I finally gave up and now go to bed when I want and sleep as long as I want. Nobody else really cares so I suit myself!! I make all afternoon appointments too!
