I also check others than Snopes, seems this is slanted ever so slightly...Snopes is a husband and wife group..makes me wonder where their money comes from and how they repay it. With slanted information?
There are others on the internet also giving out true or false information about nearly everything. In fact, there are a lot of internet sites saying Snopes is..a lot of things but objective is not one of them.
Seems like today we can't get honest answers from anyone.
A husband and wife staff can't do much research on the shelf life of eggs even...
And I read somewhere that an egg producer guaranteed that the eggs from his company were under 3 months old!!!

This is what I was thinking also, just because it is declared false at this time, doesn't mean it will remain false in the future, especially with the economy as it is now.
It very well could be something that becomes reality in the near future.
Better to be alert for something like this now than to get duped down the road and perhaps have something happen to you.

You are giving gang members way to much credit.
Gang members do not plan shootings, rapes, etc.
They are spur of the moment crimes, serial killers plan crimes, gang members just come up with stupid ideas and carry them out. I live near a large city and we get lots of info on gang related activity.

I used to live in Southern Calif, one of the worst areas for gang activity. You should never underestimate them.
