[QUOTE=Rose_P;6589596] The Kindle edition is available for "instant gratification", and you don't have to own a Kindle to read it. You can get a free Kindle reader for your computer, tablet or phone. [UNQUOTE]
How can you "...get a free Kindle reader for your computer, tablet or phone..."??

Here's the information: http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?docId=1000493771
The reader apps are free, but the books are not free. They're almost always cheaper than buying the print edition, and you can sometimes borrow free ebooks from your library. The readers that you get this way don't have all the features that you would get with a Kindle, but I have it on my phone and computer and have found it very useful, especially if I wind up having to wait around somewhere and haven't thought to bring my Kindle. You can enlarge the text to make it quite comfortable to read even on a little screen.
