I was a member for several months before I posted. I'm learning a lot just reading and I love seeing all the beautiful quilt photos that are posted.

I didn't post for a long time either because I'm a beginner/wannabe. Now I either ask a question or applaud others efforts and art. One of these days I will post a pic of something I make. I am thankful for QB so that I can learn from those of you who are further along and are so willing to help and encourage.

I read it in the morning before work, and in the evening after work. I love to see the pictures posted, the sharing of good news, sad news and new quilters work and the work of the greatly more experenced quilters. I get many ideas for patterns, colors to use together and projects.

I do not have many friends that enjoy my hobby so I look forward to sharing with my "on-line" quilting friends. I thank all for posting and commenting on my projects and threads and also for posting for my comments.

misspenny Your scrap quilt looks so nice and cheerful. Thanks for showing it, I'm a scrap lover too. it seems that every quilt I really like has been a scrap quilt. I do post quite often, for me. I'm a relatively shy person until I get on here.
