Happy News. I just finished the last pair of drapes for the house. When my daughter brings my camera home, I will post pictures of my newly redecorated house. I am so thrilled to know that I can put all the painting, and plastering supplies away. Best part is, I was able to make curtains and drapes out of my stash, no new fabrics were used.

I don't follow those threads, and I am a happy old woman. I don't watch TV, the news, or listen to political stuff, I focus on the good, Thank God several times daily for all I have, especially my sweet husband, and enjoy life. I ate a ripe peach off my tree this morning, and made a cobbler with some my neighbor gave us. I am so grateful for this site where most of the negative stuff is already deleted.
Loving you people here as well as life.
 ;-) :)

I have a setting for the BOM I just finished swimming around in my head...so pretty...I have begun re-doing my room into a sewing room and those images mingle there too as I try to make it as functional as possible...I just got the background material for my new BOM and it is just crying for the rotary cutter...the garden is on it's last legs and need some TLC before winter comes...So many things to create, enjoy and share. Life is good and that isn't even considering my family and friends. How blessed can one person be!!

Here's something very happy,

My youngest DD is recovering very nicely from having an emergency appendectomy Thursday morning.

I'm very Thankful and Grateful to the Good Lord above that it didn't rupture before we got her to the hospital that morning.

She will also be going back to school tomorrow. (loud YAY!)

I made a baby quilt that I've been dreading (to plain for my taste), but now it is behind me. Then my DH took me out on a surprise day out. First we picked out my new laptop because mine died, then spent the rest of the day and most of the night in Gatlinburg. A day of just the two of us. Life is good!!!

Congrats! I understand. I received my medical transcribing degree at age 56. Not transcribing but nobody can take that piece of paper away from me.
