go for brights. Kids love them and they're gender neutral. Not necessary to do a theme.

I didn't find out what my daughter, now 2, was when I was pregnant. We went with animal themes (ocean animals, jungle animals, frogs, and ducks) and alot of yellow, green, and brown.

Also, they say that when babies' eyes are developing the first colors they see are black, white, and red. Also that big geometric shapes are interesting for developing eyes.

A few ideas anyway.

Maybe you can do some neutral burp cloths, in bright colors, of course.

There's lots of options out there without knowing if you'll have a DGS or DGD.

You could get some quilts done, so far as the borders, then trim it up in blue or pink once you know. I have one of the baby fun prints that I'm going to be fussy cutting .... it's probably equally boy/girl and the way I sash/border/bind could totally change the look of it for one or the other.

Greens and Yellows are always safe bets.

And too, have the parents started to decorate the nursery? It may have nothing to do with pink or blue! So check in with them and coordinate from there!
