I put my quilting money in an envelope and only use from that envolope through the year. If I should sell something the money goes into the envelope. Keeps me on a budget and I know how much I can spend and do I really want this or can I make due with what I have at home already.

I do want a nice treadle machine someday. But I'm not willing to pay more then $200 for it.

It's getting way out of control for me too.

I think somebody needs to intervene for me at times.

We only have on fabric store in Brunswick, GA. It is across town. So when I go, I buy. If I get to a larger city, I look for quilting shops, fabric stores, craft stores... I buy.. I have dieted to lose weight and to fill that need to do something with my hands- I quilt. Do not put me on a Quilting Diet... I will be eating again.

You do realize that next year when the prices for cotton hits sky high, those fabric stashes are going to come in very handy. There is already a cotton shortage. Look for cotton under garments to have big price increases this fall.
