What a great bed. I had my drawers under my bed growing up too. I think making it will be SO MUCH EASIER now. I dreaded climbing up to make the boys bunk beds so much I couldnt wait to get rid of that thing. I love her quilt oh so cute and colorful just like she is I imagine.

LOL you hit the nail on the head I hated making her bed..it was too hard, my head would hit the ceiling, my knuckles would be scraped I sad this is crazy! So now it is a piece of cake and that I LOVE lol
Yes she is quite colorful-definitely the light of my life thank you :-)

Sewn,
I took the friendship star pattern and did half square triangles for the background half of the star point and made one the background and the other another shade of the star point. I am sure there is a pattern somewhere (probably quilter'scache) but I can not for the life of me find it or remember the name.
