It has been an experience reading how everyone got their names but through sadness and happiness of many these handles pay tribute to individual lives. As for me being All Thumbs, it stemmed from me machine quilting so long one week that my thumbs had cracked and nothing would heal them. So when I joined this group, I grumbled to my dh that I needed a screen name and went to the kitchen for another cup of coffee. Well, when I returned through the hallway, dh whom I thought was sleeping and not paying any attention to what I had said, simply stated, "Hi All Thumbs." It stuck; hence here I am All Thumbs!

My name came from the old song "Name Game". If any of you remember it. I added the 69 for my year of graduation. Oops, am I telling my age

My niece and nephew, now in 20,s and out of college, unable to pronounce Helen, when smaller. I had an aunt Helen, but she was, well.....I wanted to not be Aunt Helen. So to this day I am still Auntie Henno!

I used to have a big room in the basement to sew & quilt in, so came up with dungeonquilter because of that. Since have moved back upstairs as DS moved back home a few years ago, and talked me into giving him the room in the basement (the largest room in the house).

My board name has been used by me for years...bethanywoman, I live in Bethany, a town inside of Oklahoma City OKC tried to gulp Bethany up years ago (I was about 7 or 8) but the citizens voted it down. The only compromise they made was to merge the street address with OKC streets -really did make sense too- and I am a woman. Ha! real original, huh

My name is Lois but ever since a little girl everyone has spelled my name Louis, or Louise. Therefore I just used Lois-nounoe. Once where I worked they started a mixed team bowling league. Since someone put me down as Louis we wound up with an all girls team! Didn't go over big with the other teams. Especially since we were whipping the other teams as-es! LOL
