Just finished a paper and come here

So I just finished a research paper. It is 11:30 pm my time and I am tired, but wired from the caffeine to stay awake to finish the paper.

I am not used to being up this late and am feeling peckish. No that is not true, I am craving Miss Vickies Sweet Chili chips.

I click on recent topics hoping to see some projects people have completed for Christmas giving. What do I see? Recipes and more recipes for all sort of yummy food.

Now I am craving all sorts of treats. Why is it that late at night I do not crave an apple, carrot sticks or cheese and crackers?

Oh well, at least I got my project done. If I a still craving treats in the morning I can go shopping.

Late night munchies are the hardest to resist. Congrats on finishing your paper. Hopefully you don't have too many more assignments to do and you can enjoy a break from your studies.

Hope you have some carrots to munch on in the morning. Too many sweets at this time of year.

Congrats on finishing your paper! Personally, I love Miss Vickies Dill chips! Lucky, or maybe not, I don't have access to them anymore!

I don't resist! I eat what I want when I want it. I seldom have cravings for any one food and since I started eating and not stressing over what I eat, I have lost weight. I may have brownies for dinner and chili for breakfast. My body never gets the same foods at a set schedule. Some days all I want is a big veggie salad and some days all I want is fried chicken.

Its so true that when we get the munchies, we crave sweets or food that is not high on the food pyramid. I love an ice cream cone each night, that seems to help me with the munchies.

Best wishes on getting your degree one day! I went back after 20 years and got my Master's--took a while to "retool" my mind to becoming a student again.

When I get a craving in the middle of the night, I just get a spoon of peanut butter or make a pbj sandwich. A matter of protein and sweet and salty.
