We are 25 miles north of Austin, TX. Those pictures were taken yesterday and today (Novemer 13, 2010 and November 14, 2010). The daisies are just getting started. They like shorter a shorter day cycle so they only started blooming about 10 days ago. They are really pretty on Thanksgiving.

The iris was a bonus bloom. It surprised us this morning. It is planted next to the water garden.

WOW!! How I long for the pretty green grass, the beauty of the flowers... I need to make these my desktop so when we get that white stuff, I can look at these and dream!

Made me think of spring. How lovely...... I live in southern Ohio and we had drizzling rain all day
A dreary wet fall day. Even the mums are tired and starting to die. I want happy. putting up tree this week.

I love wild flowers, but Iris is my very favorite flower.
I do not have any solid white. How pretty.

I saw something very odd today in two different places. Here is Massachusetts, I saw a PJ Rhodedendron with blooms on it next to a Dunkin Donut's building. Then I saw three Cherry trees with recently blooming flowers on it near an Applebee
s restaurant.

I have never seen spring blossoms in the fall and found that very strange.
