We took the picture of the daisies yesterday (check out the butterfly) and the iris this morning. It is hard to believe it is November when you see things like this.

We still had a butterfly last week after the sun was out for a while, was around 75 everyday, its colder noe, mid 50s high. I like cooler weather anyway. Still have a couple of roses ready to bloom and honeysuckle vine is still blooming.
You have a very beautiful site to look at. Enjoy.

Every time I have late flowers I think of what my mom would say "flowers out of season, troubles out of reason."

We are 25 miles north of Austin, TX. Those pictures were taken yesterday and today (Novemer 13, 2010 and November 14, 2010). The daisies are just getting started. They like shorter a shorter day cycle so they only started blooming about 10 days ago. They are really pretty on Thanksgiving.

The iris was a bonus bloom. It surprised us this morning. It is planted next to the water garden.

I saw something very odd today in two different places. Here is Massachusetts, I saw a PJ Rhodedendron with blooms on it next to a Dunkin Donut's building. Then I saw three Cherry trees with recently blooming flowers on it near an Applebee
    s restaurant.

I have never seen spring blossoms in the fall and found that very strange.
