Actually the drawers under the steps sounds like a good way to get more storage space - think fabric stash. :) A few of them gave me a chuckle, but some of the others are just bizzare. And that green ladder looks dangerous to me.

I know someone who actually has the cup with a space for the biscuits..... and she uses it. I thought the stair storage a great idea.

I want one of those tea and biscuits mugs - and that belt with the measurements on it would be great if they aren't actual inches/cms.

I love the lamp and I've seen staircases with storage like that in 5th wheel RVs.

Those stairs have been around for hundreds of years, which makes them a classic. They are very practical and with folks down-sizing these days, something to cherish. I look forward to smaller houses with these built in all over the US.

I remember in an old house I visited as a child, the elderly woman who owned it had 2 pull out stairs full of kid type toys, which kept them out of adults' way while they were gossiping.
