tessagin , your story was so funny, I could not stop laughing. Thanks for this story and for the shower story. They both were so good. Can't wait to tell my husband. He will love the spider one since I act "so silly" over a little thing like a spider. As he would say.

ooooo spiders are vile evil creatures to me also....They may be "good" to have around but I assure you, I'm not "good" when they are around. Hopefully your family doesn't injure themselves while they chuckle away. I'm afraid they'd have a hair wad sandwich for lunch and watch them laugh then...he he he (can you tell, I don't get mad, I get even????)

Once I went to pick up a string off the floor and it moved. The snake was small but it was a snake just the same. How I got on the chair I do not know.

Love these stories! Years ago my husband had a church ministry and our family moved to a big old parsonage in a very small town. One day I went down to the creepy old basement to change the cat litter box and decided to do a general sweep of the floor while I was at it. I went into a little side room that had no light and my broom ran over the top of a huge rat with a loooong skinny tail. It lunged at me. I threw the broom and swear I didn't touch a single step on my way upstairs. My shrieking brought hubby and our two little kids running. Hubby bravely crept downstairs with a flashlight and a big stick. He came back up doubled over with laughter, carrying a piece of fuzzy insulation over a foot long that had a thick wire wrapped around it and trailing behind. When I ran my broom over it, it rolled toward me. I'll never forget my terror.

And if your family is like mine, they'll never let you live it down. My family loves to tell (over and over) stories about me and my "mistakes" to anyone who will listen.

I hate spiders-I do try to live with them as long as they are outside. Inside and they are dead!!!
These are so funny and I know the horror of thinking there is a spider and the eyes and brain disconnect and one is screaming and the rest are laughing their tushes off.
Thanks for the laugh and you have my sympathies.
