Literally, bats and quilts
#43
Such an adorable landing strip for an unwelcome guest!!! My children taught me how to tie small pebbles in the corner of a white dishtowel, toss it in the air and a bat will fly into white spot. Don't know why but it works. Then you can just take it outdoors inside the towel and set it free. When we lived on a Ranch, the bats were frequent visitors, and I was a frequent screamer.

Ooh, I'd have been scared to death! My DD had one in her dorm room last fall (2nd day of classes. Her dorm was an old converted house on campus.) Her roommate got bitten while trying to get it out (my DD was hiding under the covers) and they had to make a trip to the ER at 2am. Poor roommie had to get the rabies shots in her hand because that's where the bite was. The next night there was one in someone else's room. Thankfully, this year she's in a newer dorm.

for anyone interested, here is the original post of this bunny quilt. Scroll down for the pattern information. It is from a book.
Sorry so many are eeek'd out by a little bat. They are mostly harmless and quite fun to watch.
Thanks for liking the quilt. It was fun to make.
