thanks.. learning to love watching, and waiting with my small digital camera.. so many unexpected blessings to shoot when we just stop, and let ourselves stand still..

Karen, it looks more like a Stellar's Jay. They are so pretty, but noisy. We had three babies hopping around here a couple of years ago. Mom and dad really let you know if you were getting too close!

I was told they were the grackles, but I am not a bird person, so wouldnt know if it were, or weren't.. All I do know for sure is that they make LOTS of noise, and lots of messy white cleanup on the deck!! haha. Either way they are known by, they are pretty blue in color! Makes me wanna create a blue quilt!!

Great pictures! We were laughing at a Jay this morning. He was stashing a peanute in the FAKE flowers I have hanging. ROL!
