I teach in the Family and Consumer Science (previously known as Home Economics) department at Western Michigan University. Our student organization for the fashion design area of the department made dresses for this organization two years ago and used the simple pillowcase pattern. I gave them fabric from my stash and they sent off 75 garments. I heard they wanted to do this again this spring but have not heard if the effort cam about or not. It was nice to see that Nancy Zimmerman and was and is involved.

Cute dresses. Thanks for the link. I have been thinking about making these. I have made pillow cases and was looking for something new.

Thanks for all the nice and encouraging comments. I am having a ball sewing these because I don't have any grands yet and youngest dd just turned 19.
I completed #4 this weekend. I have it down to about 4 hrs start to finish, but that is fabric uncut and a leisurely pace, listening to Youtube videos as I sew.
