Am sorry to hear about your flooding, but your dog looks like, (this could be fun).

Gorgeous dog - we used to have a shepherd/lab mix, and she *loved* the water

Sorry to hear of your water issue.

I think it's time to give the pooch a bath and send him to a dry room.

Just now looking at the news on tv, sorry about the flooding, that is always such a mess and can do so much damage. From the looks of it water has done a lot more damage than the winds.

Sorry to hear about the water!! Had to do that once & that was enough!!!
I think your dog wants to learn to swim.

It has stopped raining here... (I hope) The wind now is worse than it has been all day. Now to wait for the water to go down a bit outside and the fun begins. Silly dog is in his glory... keeps pestering me to go out so he can go charging through the water again.

If I let him, he would be laying down in it. Since it takes him hours to dry out with that long coat he has.. I'm trying to avoid that. I have enough to dry off in the house.

Sense of humor has not left... but I'm sure I'll be pretty cranky by the time we get going on the downstairs.

Just thankful that my new HQ longarm is high and dry, even if the room has 2" of water in it.
