We had a peach tree outside the fencing of our yard where the golden retrievers could go. One morning I was looking out my bedroom window and saw a mama deer holding down a branch of the peach tree where the baby could reach the peaches. They ate the peaches and left the pits hanging on the tree! What a sight.

How beautiful

My husband saw something the other day, that I never knew existed. A piebald deer. It was white with darker spots. I guess it's due to some gentic mutation

Lovely photo...I know deer do damage to gardens, but they are beautiful, too.

use to have the mamas and babies in the back yard in Rapid City almost daily. If I took screen off I could touch them = never did. But always talked to them very softly/ Precious gifts from above!!!
