I'm 5 foot tall and I know what you mean about not being able to reach the bottom of the washer. They are a nice set of twins.

18 years ago my DH got me a new washer for Valentines day. I was going to the laundromat for the 4 of us and it took most of the weekend to get the laundry done. I am still using that washer.. The spline that goes into the agitator strips out every 4-5 years. I just call the appliance repair shop and have them mail me one. Take a hammer to the old one to get it off and a block of wood to put on the new one. DH wants me to get a new set but as long as this one runs I intend to make it DIE permanently... When it does I would like a set like yours == for now it means More money for fabric.....

I love my front loaders. Just remember to leave the washer door cracked to dry out. I'm 6' tall with arthritis in my back so the pair on the pedestals work great for me. I also like that they will dry a load faster than the next one gets washed.
