Default Looking for cute washable throw rugs...

Our new house has 2 doors that won't be used a lot right now, and I want to put a cute throw rug in front of each to catch what little dirt might come in. Anyone know who sells nice ones? I don't want to spend more than $20 each if possible. One door is in the dining area and one is in the living room. I like cute and bright.

I did see a tutorial at the Moda bake shop for a braided rug but don't know if I have time to make one right now. It used a honey bun and some yardage.

I've bought several throw rugs at Kohls, they have a large selection.

I've bought several from Solutions online. They are cotton, non-slip and wash up really well in the washer and dryer.

How about making a floor quilt from your stash?

Right now I don't even have time to finish a quilt top that is 99% done. My room is a mess from getting ready to move my things into our new house and we have a ton of other stuff to move this week. I'll check out kohls and solutions online. thanks!

Wal -Mart also has many throw rugs. Some are cuts of big carpeting. Home Depo.

I got a set (runner and rectangular mat) at Lowe's. They're nice enough looking, inexpensive, but they do slip. I had to buy the rubber non-skid stuff. But I'm able to throw them in the washer.

When in a pinch ... a large bath towel will do the job, til you have time to look and find "just what you want"!!

I have found some cute ones at TJMaxx. Also find them at our local flea market. We have a vendor here that sells new rugs at very reasonable prices.

Good luck!
