That does this to a photo. I have looked online and can't find anything but tutorials for photoshop and I know there is one or was one . I saw it awhile back. My hand just is not steady enough to do the photoshop one.

I think someone said with EQ 7 you could scan in a picture and make a quilt from it , would that work ?

You can do this in Photoshop quite easily, just upload the photograph and go to Filters > Filter Gallery > Cutout (adjust the settings accordingly) and you'll get this effect. I'm not sure what version of Photoshop you have, but I know this works for the more recent editions.

This was my son's reply to your question. I hope it helps.

Ok I tried the Photoshop cutout. Easy but my photo isn't really good for that I guess. I am using the one that is my icon. Colors run together too much. I need something with more contrast. Now to figure out the rest of it. LOL Thanks Maride

well you could use the eraser and erase the background around the dog and try that. It might help.

I am going to try all kinds of things. Tomorrow. After I take care of the critters and make a couple of belly bands. I was playing with programs today instead of sewing. :-)
