    Gerbie, I usually put 10 or less designs on a drive. I think it really depends on the density of the designs. If it's a large design with a lot of stitches you may want to try less designs on the drive. It's really a learning curve. I was told to use a smaller GB thumb drive not the 32GB ones. Try one with 4 or 8 GB and see how it works for you.

    I bought an embroidery machine, my first one, a few months ago. I haven't used paper stabilizer at all so far. I use the stabilizer spray. No added bulk to my designs. I do have some tear away stabilizer but it's so inexpensive I can't see saving small pieces.

    Yes, you can use small pieces of stablizer over and over and not just the tear away. My dealer said never throw any of it away. I use a light spray of 505 to hold it together.

    this m at sound gross, but I lick them together. and use some of them in the middle of 2 sheets.
