For regular sewing my machine has great speed adjustment.
However I discovered that my machine only has 2 speeds for
embroidery 350spm and 650spm. With MOST thread no matter
what brand I used there has always been a TON of breakage.
This weekend I did a bookmark (the "joy" as pictured above)
in a variegated yellow/orange, that one bookmark had OVER
40 threads breads before it finally finished. And that was using
the slowest speed and a sharp needle.
I am going to try some of the other design s I had trouble with
breakage using the top stitch needle and see what (if any) improvements
that will hold for me.

Well I decided to try a "test" of my other metallic thread to
see how it will do using the top stitch needle.
So far so good. I have 2 icicles in Iridescent white WOW lots
of sparkle and NO BREAKAGE. Just 4 more designs in that grouping
to make.
