Adorable clothes for your granddaughter. Sorry for your son's loss, but thankful their lives were spared.

Oh how awful! How blessed she is to have a grandma who sews. The dresses are adorable! I used to make little dresses for my daughter when she was little. I wish there was the selection of cute fabrics like there is today. It was sad when she started 1st grade and came home and said none of the others were wearing dresses.

Those are so cute. That quilting cotton fabric is really coming in handy. I am so glad it was only some of their stuff that got burnt.

Doggramma, that is sad. School attire has gotten so casual, and I believe it affects the children's attitudes towards the whole school experience. The standards have definitely been lowered since we were little and in school.

Oh, no! How scary!! Soooo thankful everyone is okay!! God be praised for protecting your precious son’s family. Did Millie lose the darling newborn things you made or were they stored elsewhere ?

Not sure, Zozee. Her mama said everything that was in her room is gone.

So sorry to hear about the fire but glad no one was hurt. Your dresses are precious & she will love them. The red one really speaks to me as it's my favorite color.

I know you love sewing for your little ones, but what a frightening reason to sew for Millie. Glad everything's okay..clothes can be replaced....

Oh and these are so sweet looking!

So sorry to hear of the fire but thank goodness everyone is ok. The dresses are so adorable and love the fabrics you used to make them. You are such a beautiful sewer and now your little granddaughter has a new wardrobe thanks to you.
