We've got slush and freezing rain right now here in Central IL. they're forecasting up to 12" of snow and 1/4" to 1" of ice before that for around here. But that can always change at the last minute. let's hope it does; I've been thru an ice storm before and it's really not fun after the first 10 minutes.

Hi...Just noticed that you live in Murray, Kentucky. Our family lived there about fifty years ago..WOW, that is a really long time! LOL I remember that is when I first fell in love with the South. It was a very small town back then. Has it grown a lot?

As long as I get to stay in and quilt, I will be happy but I'd also care about the rest of you being safe. Hopefully this will pass like so many do.

Thinking of you all in that part of the world, stay safe and warm. Sorry I have never seen snow, and have no idea what it must be like for you in a snow storm!

Snow is beautiful-until you have to go out in it. Or if it makes your power go out-that sucks when it's cold.

The very northern part of Iowa has snow packed roads and more snow comming tonight in the "second wave" of the storm. I live a farther south than that but I had to drive homw in it from my son's house. We are expecting 12 more inches starting tonight and tomorrow with high winds to blow it around. :(
