Default May 2013 Weight Loss Adventure

On May 1st weigh yourself and write it down. Do NOT send it to me. On May 31st, weigh yourself again and PM me your loss. This is weight lost not percentage. I will announce the winner on the 3rd of June

The Prize is a themed FQ from each member that sent to the hostess. Once a winner is declared, i will contact the winner and FQ's will be mailed by the 6th.

Private message me for mailing address. FQ's must be mailed by the 15th of the month to be eligible for the winning FQ's.

I ask that you check in weekly with how you are doing so we know you are still around.

Chit Chat is allowed, as wellas WAYWO (what are you working on). Please stay positive and uplifting as possible to keep up on track. Share tips, recipes, encouraging words and {{{HUGS}}}

As we have several reasons to remember our nation and the workers of our great country. This month theme is Patrotic any form of Red/white/blue. Please send quality fabric that you want to receive in return. As always if you don't have the theme, send what you can. If you don't have a FQ, you can send a linear 1/4 yard. If you have signed up to be in te runnig for the prize, please mail your FQ to the hostess by the 15th of the month. As the winner (could be you) has worked hard for the prize pot of FQ.

Remember to make healthy choices, exercise, make wise choices, lose weight but most of all have fun!!!

Sign up deadline is May 4th @ 9pm CST. You are encouraged to contribute to the thread even if you are not in for the prize.

To sign up you just need to post to the thread and PM me for the mailing address to mail your FQ.

I sent mine for April, May and June. I hope to lose better in May. I don't know what my body's problem has been lately. Guess I'm going to have to move around more. haha I'm still enjoying just looking at the fabric I won in March.

Terrific Tuesday - I'd liks us all to adhere to the 7 Ps to help us with weight loss -- Proper Pre-Planning Prevents Pretty Poor Performance. Pre-plan meals and any eating 'binges' and performance (results) will show up in weight loss. Takes a bit of work there, but well worth the effort. I know Cindy talks about what she buys at the store and planning for meals, I do as well, but hubby and I eat out 2-3 times per week and it's hard to 'pre-plan' with meals out. I'm going to give it a try - how 'bout you?

I'm in again. April was the first time I've lost weight in many years. My weight has been stable but I haven't been happy about it. I feel like I can make progress this time. And I did more than just touch my fabric last night. I cut the fabric for 10 placemates that will be used as table runners for DD wedding reception in June. And I have enough fabric left to make me a set.

I am in again for May, and have already sent my fabric. Tomorrow I weigh, I think I have lost quite a bit despite those dozen donuts at the beginning of the month. I'll post tomorrow.

Im in again for May. Haven't been around for a while. Fell up my basement stairs and dislocated my knee cap. Life is really just crappy. I was carrying my sewing machine and tote bags when i fell and i haven't even taken the cover off to see if i damaged it. DD put it back on the sewing table and there its been. Life is crappy!
