Mine are both a little over 7 inches minus hanger and tail. I used two different patterns for mine...I drew them onto a sales paper...

I hope these attach at the right size. If not, you can cut them or reduce them to about 8 inches. Sorry about the pattern paper. I just used what was near.

Hi Miranda, I thought a Dotee Doll looked like an upside down "U", and

that the face had to be flat on the body. That's what all of the ones

that I've seen on websites have looked like. I'm so glad that you put up

your pattern. I didn't know that the head can be put on top of the neck.

Then, is what makes them a Dotee the lack of arms and legs, and the

addition of a hanger and a tail?????? Can't wait to see everybody's

dolls!!!!

Check out the dotee dolls on flicker.. You'll see all kinds of shapes. I'm working on a jack-o-latern dotee for a swap and she is round.

You are right. No worries. Everyone is putting their own "spin" on them. Always happens. Don't worry about it...you'll be fine.

Did I mention I still have to make mine?
