I wrote this in the PM, and I'm going to repost it here, since other people might be interested as well.

I'm going to take that ad down in a bit.

I just need it to grab as much attention as possible to make sure everyone on the board is aware about the release of the e-book and about the introductory discount price.

The rationale here is simple: the more noticeable the ad, the less is the amount of time it needs to run.

So using a more subtle ad would require me to run it for a much longer period of time, which is something I don't want to do.
So everyone, please bear with it for a few days.

The newsletter announcement about this e-book comes out on Wednesday, and the ad on the message board will be taken off on Thursday evening.

I was wondering the same thing. I took my computer in for an optimization and some sites aren't working the way they used to. So I thought it was just me.

My computer has been down and I am slowly getting it back up and these appeared and I thougt it was another problem I would have to deal with. Thank you for asking about it! I thought it was just my cantankerous machine! :lol:
