OK my old fridge sported duct tape in the door and my hot water tap in my CLEAN shower had a cute little pair of vice grips these were VERY temporary fixes now I have a new fridge and bathroom--but the soda bottle is pretty clever

I actually liked the sprinkler idea! The BBQ grill was interesting. NO WAY would I step near that pool!!!!

Our fridge at work has broken shelves on the door. I may just get the duct tape out just so it alleviates the overcrowding. But I will do it later in the afternoon after everyone is gone!

It looks like you've been visiting my husband's best friend's house. It's always an interesting experience. Like traveling to a 3rd world country without leaving this county.

The pool, oh my gosh !!!!!!!!![/quote]

I think this wouldn't have ended well if they'd actually turned on the electricity. Some of these are really cute though. I'm thinking "fix" may not be the right word!

I laughed until I had tears in my eyes. Boy, can I relate. Can't tell you how many argument DH and I have had over his "Mr. Fixit" ideas. I eventually win the long, long argument (the only time we argue) and call a real repairman.

All are funny, but I love the duct taped fridge most! It must be in an all-male apartment. Few women would put up with that!

That would be my husband, too. He always says that any job he does is only "temporary". Yeah, I says,PERMANENTLY temporary because that's the way it stays forever unless I can get someone else to fix it. No one will ever know how disgusted I get about these things.

When we lived in Indy, my hubby and future BIL used a license plate that belonged to our other car, a portable inspection sticker and a couple of other things. Well they got stopped by a cop. When the cop got thru going over all the infractions he ask them 'ARE YOU GUYS FROM KENTUCKY?" He told them to go straight home because he didn't want to get writer's cramp over their infractions. LOL This reminded me of that.
