Henry, I'm so sorry for your loss. My Granma passed nearly 5 years ago and I still think of her every day; sending you hugs.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and well wishes. It has been a rough time since I went down on July 11th. I am emotionally drained. The kind words lift me up some. To those who asked if it was my grandma that taught me quilting, no it was not her. She turned 89 on Monday. The grandma who passed, grandma Ruby, was my mom's mother. She was 87, she would have been 88 in September. I was there by her bedside almost to the end. I left the house briefly to go see my other grandma, and that is when she died. I know that she is in a better place, and that she is with God. I just miss her. I miss her signature red hair and her beehive. I just found out for the first time in my life that she dyed her hair red. I was shown pictures of her with black hair, her natural hair color. I was shocked. :)
But anyways thank you all for your kind words.

Henry

Funny how a lot of ladies go red for years and years. Hang in there.
