I told my husband I would be late home from work because I needed to stop at the quilt shop - and named the specific item I needed.

When I got home, he said Robin called (my BF). So I called Robin and the first thing out of her mouth was "Why did you convert to Muslim, and why didn't you tell me?".

Say what?

Oh lordy ...

I turned to my husband and said "I was stopping for MUSLIN".

Now he's disappointed because he was hoping I was going to take up wearing a burka.

Sheesh.

No, but telling my BF that I converted to Muslim kinda solidified the fact that he truely is unconscience most of the time.

Think about it ... if you told your husband that you were converting religion, wouldn't he at least question it instead of just saying "Ok - see you when you get home".

So at some point in the evening I'm planning on telling him that bed is on fire just to see if he's listening.

Even though my DH is only 65, he has a hearing loss due to the model airplane engines he ran (loud noises) so I have to be real careful talking with him so he understands what I am saying......it can get really humorous around the house!!!
