Glad it had a good ending.
Reminds me of when we hired a chimney sweep. The appointment was a couple weeks out and the day arrived and the work was done. A week later I got a post card in the mail confirming the date. The post card had been delivered to Holland..........yup...the European Holland! It was postmarked there then put back into the system again. I couldn't resist, I had to call the business and share it with them. We did gave a good chuckle out of it and never could figure out just how in the world it got to Holland and back!

A few yrs. ago, I had left an addressed envelope with the city clerk to send my water bill to me in CA, where we were for the winter. I knew the date they were always due but when that date arrived I had not received it. Waited another wk. and still no bill. Two wks. later it came. It had gone to FL. Clerk said winter bills always went out to snowbirds as soon as readings came in. Just one of those things.
Also, sent a pkg. to son in CA over 2 wks. ago. Still hasn't arrived. Since it was sent parcel post, there is no way of tracking it. Surely hate to spend the time making the things again that were in the pkg. And they talk about raising rates---again.
