    We ended up naming him Sammy I know another S name lol. Some of his feathers started to grow back but he is still plucking.
    Aviary vet thinks it has become a habit and will most likely continue also some of the feathers are so damaged they are not going to grow back.

    They are considered a nuisance animal because if they get out they can breed and survive beating out local birds for habitat. There are some large colonies in New Jersey and some in PA. I dont agree with the state but that is why they are illegal here
