Poor bird, I can't believe someone let him get like that, glad you have it. Do you know if it is a maile or female?

Haha he was singing rather noisy just a min ago. I am cooking chicken right now for dinner I told him he better watch out he is not that far off from getting tossed into the pot. And he is already half plucked! lol

I am just kidding everyone! My husband and I have a morbid sense of dinner. Ask my chihuahua how many times she has been told she would be chihuahua chili for dinner

I like Treasureit's reply, show hubby the quilt as a work in progress, just like your birds new feathers will be a work in progress. I'm sure he will be a beautiful bird under your tender loving care. I think I'd call the bird "Lucky" as he is lucky to have found people who care.

Treasureit- I Got a good chuckle out of this!!!

Abbyquilts - Never saw a naked bird before (except chicken and turkey). Wonder how he kept his head feathers? Glad he found someone that would take better care of him!!
