Aww how sweet. I am happy to hear his feathers will grow back in. He is lucky to have found a new home that will love him :) Happy early anniversary!

Good luck with your new bird. Feathers or not he is beautiful and I am sure will do better when he is in the right size cage with toys to ease the boredom and a good diet of fruits and vegetables.

For those of us who don't know very much about "birdie babies", will you please put out a before-and-after story when all of the feathers are back, so we know what he's supposed to look like? Love that yellow/lime color, though!

That is one lucky bird to have found a caring home. He will do fine and looking fine in no time.

    Congrats.

golly, they have snakehead fish taking over rivers and working into the Great LAkes, they have boas eating their way thru the swamps in FL. You'd think they (govt) would take care of those items before worrying about these birds.
I guess they could push out native species, but they are beautiful and bird populations are dropping, maybe we need a new species here. They really are beautiful and I could see a flock of them going thru in the spring, like martigras robins, sharet

I hope it lays eggs, it's way to small to eat!! Ha ha..just joking. It does remind me a little of a plucked chicken! Poor baby, it will be lovely when it's feathers grow back!
