Your first project could be a nice lap robe for her made from some of her material. I'm sure she would be thrilled to see you actually using all that stash.

lucky you. I wish I had a relative who could leave me fabric. I taught my mom to quilt but she didn't believe in a stash. All I got was a few scraps...most of them came from me, too, as I would send her fabric!
