What a cutey pie! I can't believe how much snow you have on the ground! And it looks fresh, did you get more snow recently?
He is just beautiful.
Such a handsome boy! An 8 year dog is such a treasure. Still full of energy but also full of good sense and grace. The older they got, the more soul they seem to show. My boy Stitches (see avatar) was two weeks shy of his 18th birthday. We treasured every day with him and reflect back on so many happy memories. By the way, I saw a show last night on HGTV. The woman had three rescue dogs. One she called Shorty. It was golden retriever, corgi and bassett hound mix. What a combination. Its head was pure Golden as was his tail. The rest of the body and legs were definitely a bassett/corgi mix.
Your Rufus looks just like our Buddy. Beautiful color!
Awwww!! He loves the snow like my Mama cat does. He's lovely!!
A very pretty dog.

This life is the only one you get - enjoy it before you lose it.
What a handsome boy! I can't believe your snow. We're finally mostly snow-less down here. Hope spring comes to you soon!

Well, hi there to Rufus. He sure is a beauty. I understand the 'baby' thing too. My darling Jonah, my avatar, is soon to be 12, and still my baby. Woofs from my 3 Goldens- Jonah, Sam and Anna.

Try to be as nice a person as your dog thinks you are.
Awww...he looks just like my Sam ! Looks to me that he's thinking.." mom, put that camera down and get me inside".
One handsome boy. Barb
be happy
Aw.... he's such a cutie!! Our Jack Russell is 13 now and hardly ever wants to go out anymore. She is a couch potato!
No matter how old our dogs were they were always our "puppy". Thinking that all people felt this way, one time I asked a person how friendly their puppy was, her response was rather terse and said her dog was far from a puppy and a full grown dog. Just as my daughters are always my babies, my dogs will always be my puppy.
What a handsome boy!!! I think our winter is over with down here in OK. Everything is starting to green up and the redbud trees are all in bloom right now. Just keep praying that spring will arrive soon there!!!!

Pretty Baby!!
Love your baby picture. He looks like a great companion![]()
Ruffus is a beauty, I'm sure he will bring you much happiness
You must live in Northern WI, here in the Madison area, we are all melted. Perhaps large piles in parking lots are still working on melting.
What a pretty boy, I love his fluff and fur, does he always look so skeptical?

It's never too late to have a happy childhood
Aww! He is cute! He looks like he was digging in the snow with his nose! My dog will tap to go out and just lay down in the snow. Silly girl.
Go forth and sew!
Aww...so cute. I'm glad our snow is gone.
He is Beautiful!!! looks like he may be a snow digger like my baby. I dives right into the snow pile, refuses to walk where he just shoveled.
Be kinder than is necessary because everyone you meet is
fighting some kind of battle
