    I finally got the polyurethane on my Barn quilt and hung it on our shed today!! I think ti looks pretty cool!!

    That looks great! I just love this idea - have been looking through some pics of various barn quilts on the computer.

    Perhaps I should try and start a trend over here.

    I've been wanting to make one so went out in the shop and found that piece of plywood, it was almost square although smaller than I wanted but I did it any way- This is a simple pattern so I just drew a 9 patch grid and drew it on then painted it. I painted a coat of Polyurethane over it for protection.

    I love it! I even have my husband lookikng for quilt barns now! We saw 3 on our trip a few weeks ago.

    That is my favorite type of star :)

    Mine is smallish you could hang it on a porch.
