absolutely adores the woodstove. It is about 22 degrees out right now with ice and our house is 73 (a little too warm for me) but my male boston tigger loves it!! The woodstove cranks out great heat and we have saved a lot of money on oil since installing it.
Here are some pictures of him indulging lol

They do love the warmth. My chihuahua sits so close to the electric heater it seems like she is worshiping it! LOL

I wish we could install a woodstove in the house. Our house is too old with not place to vent one well. So, we have a potbelly stove in my husband's Man-room. I miss being able to zone out watching the flames on a day like this. Enjoy little dog - for me :)

My poodle would be right there also. I have never seen a dog that requires as much heat as she does.

LOL - he has the best seat in the house. My cats would be doing the same thing.

It is amazing how the animals love to suck it up! When I go to pet him he feels so warm I think gosh he must be boiling lol
Sorry Carrie he is my love. We rescued him from a breeder who decided since she was not breeding his color line anymore she stopped feeding him and he was severely abused! He has come a long way since we got him in June of 2009 and even lets Izabella play with him now :-)

He's real cute. Never saw a brown one before last year, my niece has two, one black/white brindle but the half sister is brown.

Yours looks like he is in dog heaven, just using this time to recharge his energy.

Boy, you can tell he is just soaking up the heat! Nice picture! Glad you rescued him! (Why do people do that?!?)
