I was afraid to read the ending of your story. Thank God that angel was there to save your dog.

I am sorry this happened and thankful the furbaby is fine but...really...can you not finally see the humor in this?!?!? I laughed so hard I almost lost my Post Toasties...

I took our first rescue pug Opie to a pug party in St. Louis. He got loose in the motel and here I am screaming chasing him. The motel staff are opening the doors to rooms they are cleaning, see Opie running towards them and then slammed the door shut in fear. I tried laying on the floor whimpering to get him to come to me...don't laugh, this sometimes works. But of course, this time it did not. I was terrified he would get on the first floor and out onto the street. Finally caught the little monster. But in retrospect, it now is really funny. :-D

Someone was looking out for your little one, this story could have been such a tragedy. Thank God there was someone there for the pup.

I almost had a heart attack too, reading your story. Thanks God for Guardian Angels, because you most certainly had one on that 5th floor with your dear dog. What an awful experience for you and your poor dog. Good luck with your house situation. HUGS !!!!!
