I have had a couple threads going on recyling/repurposing clothes for quilting, crafting, gardening!
Here is what I bought on Friday for only $4.98! Yes, that is total for all of this.
THere is a denim jumper, were the bottom will become a potato planter, 2 denim skirts that will also become planters, the colored denim jeans will become totes from the top half, not sure about the bottoms yet, the black leather skirt is amazing and if were not 2 sizes to small I would wear it..but alas, it will become purse bottoms and handles, the purple wool slacks will be stripped for rugs, the wool suit and jackets will be taken apart and boiled for felted wool for misc projects.(the cream suit is a Pendleton ...going to hate to boil that one) and the cotton shirts will be come quilting fabric. Not a bad haul for the cost. Of course now I have the chore of washing, ironing, taking apart...sigh..always a price to pay somewhere!
