They are all correct grammer. Grandma's favorit was Well Bless their heart, or her heart or his heart, Some times when she said it I wondered just what she ment. LOL People always said what a sweet lill thing she was, (only 4 ft 11 1/2 in by her reconing) but boy did she have a temper she always said if you get mad kill them with kindness, and keep smilin it will befudel them then do what you know is right. Grandpa said just let her have her way, she'll get it anyway, it'll save time and she is usually right! OH how I miss my Grandma!

Don't forget pone. Mamaw always made a pone of cornbread. No one in IL knows what the heck a pone is.

Also, groceries came in a paper poke NOT a paper bag or sack.

I grew up in IL saying most of the things on the list because my Mama is a VA girl. I was made fun of a lot!

You can never live in the South too long! LOL! My favorite saying is: American by birth, Southern by the grace of God! I wear it proudly!
