Congratulations Terri!!!!
Wish I was closer to AL, I'd take you in.
When my GS were born, i went in with my DDs. Noah's Dad was away (Air Force) and I got to be "dad." I was in my glory! Then his Mother called- she is an idiot (my polite way of saying she's a ditz). She never said who she was and I had to guess by what she was saying. Needless to say, I was not ready for her to be part of that moment and I told her she had to call back later. :)
We now have a better understanding of each other and are friends on facebook, but she's still a ditz. She just needs to understand I'm the Momma Gorilla and I protect my own- no matter how old my DD is.
Other DD had me, hubby and her bff there. I swear I had a bruised should from holding her leg. But ZMan (his name is Zachary) came out with a conehead- I told him it was my favorite movie, so he and I were definitely going to be friends.
Ahhhh, being a Grammie is sooooo wonderful! Enjoy!

How did I miss this post for so long? Congratulations Terri and family!
I taught 18 sets of twins in my 30 year career. I loved getting to know how each duo interacted with each other and I loved seeing how they were different from each other... afterall everyone can see how much they are alike!
|Enjoy every minute of it. It's gonna be a blast!!
